Dear Esteemed Delegates and Advisors,

My name is Prahi Shah, and it is my honor to serve as the Secretary-General for the first ever Alliance Model United Nations Conference (AMUN). On December 5, 2026, delegates from across the San Fernando Valley will gather at North Hollywood High School for the Valley’s first collaborative Model UN conference, built by students from multiple schools working together to inspire connection, learning, and diplomacy.

Our theme, “Global Finance and Economics,” reflects the systems that link nations and influence the lives of people around the world. It challenges delegates to think critically about equity, sustainability, and the shared responsibility of global leadership. Whether you are discussing commodity dependence in developing nations in UNCTAD or the fall of communism in Poland in The Solidarity Roundtable, AMUN will push you to engage deeply and collaborate meaningfully.

Whether this is your first conference or your fiftieth, I hope AMUN gives you the chance to grow as a leader, make lasting friendships, and discover the impact your voice can have. On behalf of the Alliance MUN Secretariat, thank you for being part of this historic first year. We cannot wait to welcome you to North Hollywood High School on December 5, 2025 for the very first AMUN.
